Note
To publish a Learning Snack, you first need to sign in to SnackBox with your Windows Live ID and create a user name.
Microsoft Silverlight Learning Snacks are short, interactive presentations. Each Snack is delivered by using innovative Microsoft Silverlight technology and includes various media, such as animations, recorded demos, and interactive activities. At the end of each free presentation, you can view more Snacks, learn more about the topic, or visit a related website.
You can create a Learning Snack in either of the following ways:
1. Create a new Learning Snack in the Learning Content Development System.
2. Create a Learning Snack from an E-Learning course in the Learning Content Development System by using the Snack Converter tool.
To create a publish a snack in the Learning Content Development System:
Step 1: Install software
Step 2: Create content
Step 3: Publish the Snack
The Learning Content Development System (LCDS) is a free tool that enables the Microsoft Learning community to create high-quality, interactive, online courses and learning snacks.
Download the LCDS.
1. Select New Learning Snack from the LCDS New menu.
2. Add text, media, and interactive elements by using LCDS.
3. You can use up to six topics to create a Snack and you can choose among eight LCDS templates for your snack.
4. You can Preview your learning snack by clicking the Preview icon in the LCDS menu.
1. Click Publish in the LCDS menu.
2. Click the SnackBox link in the Publish dialog and follow the instructions to upload your learning snack.
To create and publish a Snack, use the Learning Content Development System and the Snack Convertor tool.
